O tempo como história
Joaquim Arnaud
A wine tuner in practice, a producer by vocation and a host by nature, Joaquim Arnaud works between the freedom to create and the responsibility of carrying a story forward.
The Arnaud family's presence in Pavia has been documented since the 17th century, and the name Joaquim Arnaud has appeared across generations of the family since 1883. More than four centuries on, Joaquim carries that connection to the land forward without turning it into an obligation to repeat the past.
Farmer, gastronome, collector and wine man, he is driven by curiosity and enjoys discovering, experimenting, combining and fine-tuning, this approach to life runs through everything he does, from vineyard to cellar, kitchen to table, Casa Joaquim Arnaud to the wines that bear his name.
Joaquim likes to say that he has inherited nothing except the responsibility of caring for Casa Joaquim Arnaud, the estate and the entire legacy entrusted to him, preserving it for future generations, and this idea of continuity, closer to stewardship than ownership, shapes much of his relationship with family, land and time.
Heritage is the starting point, never the limit.
